When the boy left home base on May 1, 2006, I was the happiest adult ever! I realized that I could actually “clean house” and arrange it according to Feng Shui! Gardening and house chores are easily done without complaint on who needs to take turns because I’m the only one who could speed up, compared to the elders, whom I still rely on for logistics and major decisions. With that said, I’m still a child around here and quite a spoiled brat, whose tantrum is still uncontrolled. That’s not to say I don’t get away with everything. For you see, I’ve been handed a $1,000.00 bill for usage of the internet of the home owner. I asked him to add utilities, water and food to the bill. So right there, I’m far from being a adult because if I were, I wouldn’t be homeless. I’d be more independent and probably happier, too, without the baggage of family responsibilities. Yuch! I guess I’ll never grow up: “Forever Young”.

Topic #94: When did you realize you were an adult? (If you haven’t yet, when do you think you will?)
