The best gift is aging, the ability to die and not remember ever having to reincarnate. The worst gift is life in a fleshy body. Instead of enjoying life, living is a struggle — eating good food makes one fat, sleeping too much is just as bad, including “sleeping around” with multiple partners (or cheating), and pooping is a matter of processing already dead matter into waste. That’s how the world has been: The reverse of what it is supposed to be — peace. What appears to be beautiful is really hell. And war occurs inside one’s mind and outwardly as shown on mainstream media. Have you ever met someone so wonderful that you later on discover how equally if not more awful the dark side can be? Have you ever wondered why nature shows one predators killing a consumer? Have you noticed how repetitive the cycle of life and death is played?
If I had to re-gift, it wouldn’t be material objects. Although some place emotional values on these man-made trinkets, it’s really all empty. After all, only the beholder would fully appreciate what has been given as long as the memory is intact. Not amount of public viewing would be understood as the original recipient of precious thoughts. Once forgotten, a gift has but lost all its value until someone else cherishes said item(s) as much as the previous “owner(s)”. Wouldn’t it me nice if you could just hand someone your karmic debt and know what it really feels like to actually gift and re-gift? I’m sure the feelings would be mutual, eventually.
