Today, I’m feeling content. The sun is shining, too. This morning I tried letting Paw know how to better cooperate with the family and not stress out Maw too much; otherwise, he and I will be eating Top Ramen for upsetting the cook of the family.
He said he will listen while putting his shoes on at the base of the stairs. He ended up driving himself to mass. But because he didn’t want me to jeopardize my good record with the temp agency and the client of this “temp job from hell”, he adamantly wanted to drive Maw to her lung doctor.
Maw was pleased that Paw finally expressed his opinion and stood by his words. Usually, Paw’s quiet nature allowed us more aggressive women to decide on everything. This time he was confident enough to let his voice be heard.
And after coming out of a brief meeting at 4:00pm, we learned more opportunities knock. But as the hiring manager told everyone n the meeting room, no promises can be made at this time to accommodate any need for hiring more workers because no one knows how the market will react or if the economy will improve.
That’s the truth. But for those who made promises, only the Lord knows what is planned out for all of us. And with that said, I have to wait another one month for the truth, if any, to manifest into this reality. I guess my karmic debt has not yet been fully satisfied and I will endure the disruptive noise of the slamming back door.
