When the boy came over the house after watching the Super Bowl XL with his new Chinese family, there was a brief discussion about empathy.
Long ago during our last and probably final travel overseas in 1996, the boy and I picked up empathic sentiments.
For example, I couldn’t control my mouth because I wanted to go home. That was during our stay at a nice relative. He had a bad dream and was screaming out while subconscious. Paw had to slap him awake.
Twice, I cried torrents of tears at the “house of horror”. It was lime green in color and used to be the place where my Uncle Florene and his wife with large masculine hands used to live. The four children were abused. Her relatives live in that house.
During a New Year of the Rabbit dinner, the boy showed a video of the “dancing dragon”. He said the girl cried “torrent of tears”. Perhaps, the three of us are capable of picking up residual emotions. We cannot explain.
