Paw talked about couple more folklores from the Philippines.
Story one:
Paw and his relative, a cousin, from Tuy, Batangas were walking to the Municipal Plaza, a townhall where there was a basketball court and cinema. An ad was shown to the patrons. It was Centrol, a kind of aspirin.
After the show and on their way back home, they walked along the usual dirt path with the sugar cane fields to the right side. It was twilight, almost sundown (or dusk). All of a sudden a black colored pig crossed their path.
It is said that this is an aswang, some sort of witch. I say it is wild boar or a dark hog. But he claims that the neighbor is not known to own a pig. But I say maybe the neighbor was hiding their prized possession and it was let loose and taking a nice walk.
Story two:
Paw’s father was walking along a usual dirt path with the sugar cane field to the right side. All of a sudden a white puppy appeared. Grandpa told his children later that there no known animal of that color.
He fought off the fighting puppy with a walking stick. The strange creature disappeared into the field. Again, this could have been an aswang.
