First attempt at dalit – a Filipino poetry of four-lined stanza with eight syllables in monorhyme.
Author’s note: Based on a Filipino idiom — balik-harap – a double-faced person who looks good at face value but unfaithful behind back. Used spelling convention of the Japanese language due to not knowing how well to spell words in the Filipino language.
