Simon, the third of four siblings, has had seizures for most his life. The little olive-colored, yellow-speckled parakeet probably had a severe seizure last night (or perhaps a mini-stroke). Maw said Simon might have caught his foot on the swing.
But I witnessed how his right foot had gotten a severe cramp. His little pink foot wouldn’t open as he struggled to regain a footing on the swing while he gripped for dear life with his left foot on the cage. I yelloed for the boy to grab him or at least catch him in case Simon fell down.
The bird flew around in the cage in fright and then settled down on a swing. I had to grab his tail to make sure he doesn’t fall off the swing while the boy tried to feed him water, which Simon wouldn’t take. The bird’s eyes were wide, like Binky his daughter, whom he doesn’t recognize.
I sent the boy a message to not come over the house when his energy signature is too restless. But the baffoon doesn’t get it and continues to push is pre-diabetic body by jogging during lunch. His presence already caused Maw a severe cramping on her right thigh.
People like him hurt other people, including parakeets. It may also have been the concentrated vitamin liquid supplement I placed in the birds’ water container. I do not know.
