We need more jobs, not more government. Vote NO on D.
“Raise the wage” sound good, but the truth is Measure D will eliminate jobs and cut hours for other workers.
52% of all San Jose employers and 67% of those who employ minimum wage workers report that they will have to cut employee hours if Measure D passes. 30% of employers and 43% of those who hire minimum wage workers report they will have to lay off employees.

Measure D does a lot more than “raise the wage” – it adds over $600,000 per year in new costs and employees to the city budget.
“It is estimated that the annual cost of program enforcement would be $612,000 and include 4.5 Full-Time Equivalent employees.”
