Behold, chumps! I have designed my beautiful weblog site! This was made possible by installing the Elementor Pro plug-in, which is possible by upgrading to the WordPress Pro.

After all these years, I finally got what I wanted: static pages for everything instead of that tiresome reverse chronological order of most blog post entries!

I got my favorite date and military time stamp AND excerpts to ensure y’all are clicking into my posts, or NOT, which ever way I do NOT care. I just like blogging!

Initially, I followed the Elementor Tutorial video and set a generic Home page as the Front static page. The default WordPress Home page and/or post will (both) the generic Welcome paragraph, which I really helped to summarize the focus of the blog.

So a few minutes ago, I switch from Home to Index and kept the post title Index for those who need ideas on how a front “landing page” might look like.

I had the basic Elementor containers or sections, which is called similarly groups for the Gutunberg blocks, which really helped as a basic understanding when using Elementor.

I would start from the bottom and work my way up, since I could NOT design a perfect header! So I started with the footer, which is bare and basic to include the copyright stuff on the lower right hand corner, which is shown on the VERY bottom of tablet and mobile responsive modes. I used to think that a center or left placement was normal.

After the footer, I designed what is called the navigation portion of pages and other external links, which shows our favorite daily messenger and his sites. He is well-known worldwide, I believe/think, and above and below.

After the navigation, I designed what is called the post_content, which is the meat and potatoes of each page or post. I-AM a meat and potatoes kind of gal. If y’all barbecue, count me in! Yum! Yummy!

After the post_content, I designed the post_title, which is also called the page title. But for the taxonomy whatever, it’s called post_title. This can be done through what is called a global stuff.

Like I said, I borrowed/stole the OLD now yeeted WordPress triple colors of gray, orange and blue and entered the HEX stuff for the four (Primary, Secondary, Text, and Accent) Global Colors AND Global Fonts.

Remember: it’s all about consistency for a faster and more responsive loading experience.

And then theres the spacer (which I set at 33 pixels) and divider (which is Wavy over Curly so I can see what is Separating each section), and templates, which I narrowed down to only five with a few memorable scrap samples to laugh at!

See? But that took the entire day yesterday because I was NOT convinced going PRO was worth the stuff. And so I really liked going PRO because of the flexibility and well being able to customize stuff.

The PRO is reasonable even for small bloggers like moi and especially for those who really are in the business of selling junk, err, stuff, which I-AM NOT for my personal blogs. Although that would be interesting.

I did NOT know I could design stuff! I guess that’s why I came back to WordPress because it was and is my favorite blogging site after GeoCities stopped and BlogSpot now Blogger does NOT have its own mobile app!

After using the toilet, I saw this related WordPress article that might interest y’all: https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/25823/posts/4034877101. I do NOT see this $5 Starter plan on my dashboard, I wanted to Read more…

P.S. I actually got to use my Fiverr.com Site Logo as a transparent Background! This one hit home-run unto moi! I like!

End thoughts.
