As I mentioned in this second blog, I didn’t like Hollywood presenting fictional-based story lines. I got tired of the violence and fighting, death and doing.
Das Squirrel, too, refuses to post a high-priced ticket at the movie theater because he “knows” pretty darn well how the ploy will play out and how the story will end.
But with shows like SYTYCD, this is a reality show I could handle because it is censored enough not to show bickering, which I detest.
I like this show also because the contestants are at least professional enough not to be embarrassed for not “making the cut”.
I think I like dancing better than singing because it’s “silent” and there is more movement which I could “feel”. Whereas for singing, I’d cringe if the singers don’t hit the notes almost, nay, perfectly.
Yeah, so as mentioned in this second blog, I’d like to see/hear more live performances on stage. And this is the closest to affordable performances, I could stomach without the stress of parking and sitting long hours.
I don’t like drama. I’ve had enough if that bullcrap from family members and co-workers alike. So I love watching this reality show if dancers, just as I enjoyed watching a fictional version on television so long ago – “Fame”.
