While browsing the internet for cute photos of my favorite bulldog, I’ve read the section about it’s health. Bulldogs can have hip dysplasia, patellar luxation, cherry eye and certain allergies, along with interdigital cysts and respiratory problems. I see owning such a breed would require much love and attention because it does tend to overheat.
I clicked on the link for an article about luxating patella and recall how my left knee feels out of place whenever I’d walk around the block during my breaks. I’d feel as if a rubber band is snapping within my kneecap, but more over where the outside bump is located. It’s feels like a soft pop, even though I cannot hear it.
I researched more about my medical condition and found a link of information leading to possible “chondromalacia“, “pantella tendonitis”, or even “disintegration of the patella and femoral cartilage surfaces”, which would explain why “gliding motion” doesn’t feel smooth.
Hopefully it doesn’t lead to cartilage damage from a “meniscus tear” and possible laterally because it does feel misalign as if something is popping out and without pain, too.
Perhaps, I should see the doctor or take some vitamin and mineral supplements and stretch before exercising. Whatever the case, I’ve tried walking with my toes pointed outward and sometimes inward. I’ll go out walking now because I think Theresa is busy now.
