Theresa gave me four bite-sized pieces of Dove – dark chocolate. I love dark chocolate. It’s supposed to have flavonoids. The health effects of chocolate is supposed to:
- “protect the arteries from plaque formation and to prevent LDL oxidation”
- “a modest reduction in blood pressure and flow-mediated dilation”
- “lower risk of a heart attack“
- “as an aphrodisiac“
- “equal or possibly superior muscle recovery”
- “potentially help treat diabetes, dementia and other diseases”
- “inhibit the development of diarrhea”

After just a couple of hours, I’ve finished my delights. Here are four quotes from the red (outside) and silver (inside) foil in the order of eating:
- “You have a great laugh.”
- “Calories only exist if you count them.”
- “The fastest way to my heart is chocolate.”
- “Feel free to be yourself.”
I had to drink my coffee, milk and water just to wash out the sticky, oil substance or at least melt the chocolate from my teeth.
