Trying Theme: Ever After

This time I’m trying Ever After By Automattic

A wedding blog-centric theme decorated with subtle but gorgeous textures and ornaments. The wide one-column layout is great for photos and videos of your wedding or your wedding plan that you want to share with family, friends, or the world. Read more about Ever After →

There is NO sidebar, which does NOT show up under the “Mobile Site” view. This is the first time a free WordPress.com theme has this particular feature. The four footer widgets, however, do NOT respond well to smaller screen revaluations. Using ALL four footer widgets look cluttered. As a result, I used only the first TWO footer widgets.

This theme takes ALL five “:Custom Colors”. I also made use of the “Custom Fonts” and “Custom CSS”. I’m happy using my “Custom Design” upgrade with this theme.

When viewed in the blog page, search page and archive page, the post format for “Link” has click-able post titles and the “source links”, too.

The “page-header” displays the Description to each archive for “category” and “tag”.

There is a “horizontal bar” element that look like a pretty scroll. Of course, this theme is for weddings, so I may have to change themes again. Yuch.

Okay, I encountered an annoying bug! I wanted to modify my blog post with a format from “image”. But the available edit selection does NOT include “Link”. That’s it. Changing theme again.
