Trying Theme: Balloons

This time I’m trying Theme: Balloons By Moargh.de:

Balloons is a simple, whimsical, responsive theme with a parallax scrolling effect and three footer widget areas. Read more about Balloons →

I wanted a theme that presented a dark background color, which doesn’t hurt my eyes when viewing a weblog with a pure white background at night and in complete darkness so as to “prolong” the battery life by viewing my webpage in a dark background.

This theme supports “Excerpts” for all three pages: Archives, Front/Home and Search. Where the “Excerpt” post box once didn’t exist, snippets of the post “Content” is shown, followed by “[…]” to continue reading.

There are no annoying sidebars. Instead there are three footer/bottom widgets, of which the infinity scrolling is disabled. There is, however, a button for “Load More Posts”.

The descriptions for both “Category” and “Tag” is displayed. And white balloons are everywhere: I see the first four letters to my never-been-married-and-still-happily-single surname, too.
