Should science on brain injury inspire a ban on boxing?

Ban boxing, too, not only because it is a violent sport but because of its liability/costs on health insurance matters (i.e. brain injuries), even for ObamaCare.

I know people are willing to take risks upon themselves but it is NOT fair for society to take care of vegetables who don’t know how to stop hurting each other for “profit”.

Unlike religion and politics, science is willing to change. I don’t know why it’s so difficult for rational people to see that a productive/functional life/form is more precious than vegetative states of athletes with brain injury/paralysis/etc…
