Assume that I have ideas, which are unpopular and contrary to fact. Let’s say that I act on said ideas, which are not wanted or expected. Would that make me selfish? I think so.
That’s why people must work in job/s that they enjoy doing and for fair wage or to least reciprocate in kind. That gives them some sort of self-worth and thereby they could value whatever perceived earnings as better than received as free hand-outs.
For example, I tend to drive my car more carefully than the two cars belonging to an elderly couple. It is because whatever I bought out of my own hard work from long ago is treated differently.
Further, the feeling is not mutual when I cannot support something or someone who doesn’t pull his own weight in the relationship. Usually, a jobless parasite will be a very big issue and so are unfavorable traits and bad habits, too.
So while altruism gives less feelings of guilt, the reality stands that love is only tolerant when there is not enough love and energy to share with a husband. This opinion may sound “a bit” unfair but it is a general truth.
