Something familar about deer families. Recalled during my elementary reading about a “Bambi”, an uncensored version of graphic dying. A thick yellow book checked out within the school’s library but nothing like my expectation of the Disney cartoon version of “Bambi”. Further, something familiar about long-legged creatures. Recalled checking out book from my elementary library showing birthing of horses. “That’s gross!” Said a classmate of mine. But I recalled turning the pages, fascinated with the process of foals coming into the world. I’m a Sagittarian, by the way.
