Personally, I don’t have the patience to read each article. I quickly glance at the blog, periodically pausing to whatever grabs my attention, which, more importantly, is lead by a catchy post title and an interesting one-word tag.

For excerpts, those are cruel. It forces readers to click through thru links, which shows up in the blog stats.

For full posts, that helps impatient readers like me. I could glance quickly and whatever got my attention, I’ll click the post title and read SLOWER.
