We all have something we’d like to write about, but that doesn’t really “fit” our blog. Write it anyway.

Photographers, artists, poets: show us MISFIT.

I don’t really fit. As a misfit, we strive to “normalicy”. Once I was in this creepy “gifted-gate” program. I don’t know what that meant but now it’s called “advanced placement”. I wasn’t smart but tried VERY hard to “fit in” by memorizing a lot, which gave these people the impression that I was “smart”.

Huh. If that was true, my success today is not reflected by that labeling method. I slowed down over the years, got bored as heck, and lost the motivation to work hard, only absorbing just enough crap to “keep up appearances”, then forgetting the rest.

What a failure. I didn’t have friends because I wasn’t friendly enough or popular either. And I sure wasn’t able to fit into anyone group long enough to find my place.

Fast forward, I don’t belong anywhere, not even choir, or as cubicle slave and certainly not good as a geriatrics specialists.
