When you’re giddy with excitement, does time speed up? Slow down? Tell us about the experience of anticipation.
Photographers, artists, poets: show us WAITING.
Time does speed up when I’m have fun. But when I don’t like/want any, then time slows down. Again, these are samples of “reverse psychology”, mirror effects, whatever.
For example, when working for overtime pay on Saturdays at that big-ass company/good-paying job, I anticipated being paid well for doing a job I loved. And so I was excited to take the opportunity whenever possible without the distraction of people and noise.
However, when volunteer for doing unpaid/unappreciated gigs at my local church, the feelings made me sick. I was NOT happy and literally forced myself to “show-face” to those who love/hate/don’t know me. But I took the opportunity to practice; since I was an amateur in front of people.
