River Flood Warning Until Thursday, January 17, 2019, 19:30 PST
The National Weather Service in the San Francisco Bay AreaHas issued a
* Flood Warning for
The Guadalupe River above Alamaden Expressway
* From this evening until Thursday morning
* At 9 PM Wednesday the stage was…7.8 feet
* Minor flooding is forecast
* Flood stage is 8.5 feet
* The river will continue to rise above flood stage by late this
evening and continue to rise to near 9.0 feet by midnight. The
river will fall below flood stage by early Thursday morning.
* At 7.5 feet…Monitor Stage. Additional flow from Canoas Creek
watershed or increased reservoir spills may bring river to flood
stage.
* At 8.5 feet…Minor Flood Stage. River begins to overtop upstream
of Alma Avenue Bridge into the Elks Lodge.
