Dear diary,
In as much as I would love to mark my fleshy humanized skin with tattoos and connect with my cultural heritage, I’ve decided that getting a tattoo would be:
- 1. Expensive
- 2. Painful
- 3. Strange
The first two reasons are obvious. But the third one is strange because after viewing a YouTube video about tattoos fading, I did NOT like the results.
With my HUGE heart, BIG head, and STRONG hands, I would love colors and the dark or black work of tattoo etched permanently on my skin and as a memorial six feet under or more for forensics and archeologists alike.
When I was working my one-day temporary gig last Friday, there were lots of guys sporting their tattoos. The tattoos were done nicely and the designs were of naturally flowers and trees. I liked the designs and was interested in looking but didn’t stare for too long.
I noticed that the tattoos were ALL faded. I imagined that tattoos would retain their original bold and strong colors. But after viewing the YouTube video, tattoos can loose their intensity due to sun exposure and other bodily usage and aging.
So depending on the need, the tattoo needs to be REWORKED! That’s correct! After a few months or years, one should get the tattoo redone, meaning undergo additional pain. I do NOT understand how anyone would spend money just to spend it again for something that deteriorates.
I am also wondering how anyone would decide to get a tattoo. Were they traumatized enough so that they needed to feel close and secure knowing that there would be approval for these sort of vices?
Also how could anyone simply throw different patches of unrelated themes together and be happy with a variety of mess. I haven’t seen painting without direction. I do NOT understand why the business is allowed to thrive.
Anyway, I’ve been browsing my local tattoo artists online and there seems to be specific tattooers that specialize in realism, Japanese, and other cultural and fun themes. Once again, I’m fickle and will get bored immediately.
That’s the problem with society. Their brains are glued on disastrous events and their emotions cannot shake off the bad stuff. That’s pitiful and yet that’s the way the world exists. Until a savior and fix stuff that I have already mentioned, we’re doomed.
Sincerely,
Flynn B interested in tats not in “The plane, the plane” Tattoo or simply the plain Jane without tats.
