Greetings, I hope it’s not too late to MAGA. I’ve received two emails from the http://www.gop.com on 9/12 and today 9/17 and I would like to offer my IMHO only as ‘Other’ responses because I refuse to consent to submitting my phone number and such. Thank you, chumps.
1. In order to achieve the American Dream, Americans must be able to keep more money in their pockets and increase after-tax wages.
IMHO only: No! We need to spend on stuff to MAGA! We need to save for the rainy days for sure. But equally important, we need to symbolically ‘return’ our hard work via taxes for ‘common defence’ and stuff.
2. We must work to simplify the tax code by reducing the number of income brackets.
IMHO only: We must make everything one-third taxable, with those falling below the 50% threshold as ‘forgiveable’. That’s from an incoming thought now in reference to the daily messenger’s recent weblog post, of course.
3. We must discourage corporate inversions in order to grow the American economy.
IMHO only: I forgot what is the conceptional meaning of ‘corporate inversions’. Once again, in order to keep the immigrants from polluting other countries with their ILLEGAL ALIENS, y’all gotta cross-train them on simple infrastructures and business practicies, and reestablish those nice traditional immigration policies to prevent overstaying the VISA, and such.
4. We must make America a globally competitive nation again.
IMHO only: WTF do y’all mean? I’ve always had the impression that America is and has always been ‘first’. Then again I have seen Trump give the ‘upper hand’ to foreign nations in his handshakes to flip symbolically our status to be ‘last’.
5. Our plan must be fiscally responsible in order to not add to our already staggering debt.
IMHO only: Umm. Y’all had the chance over the eons NOT to go into debt. Why can’t y’all stop the Federal Reserves from printing ‘fake monies’ and then be done with it?
6. We must eliminate the “death tax”.
IMHO only: Y’all can stop taxing after the death of a human and its material stuff.
7. We must reduce or eliminate deductions and loopholes that only benefit the very rich.
IMHO only: Yeah, make it so that ALL are on the level playing field.
8. Simplifying the tax code and cutting every American’s taxes will boost consumer spending while encouraging savings and investment.
IMHO only: Our taxes are simple. So I don’t see why I need to file or have H&R Block charge my parents for nothing, such as auditing guarantees against goofs and frauds. Y’all are just making money off the consumers!
9. We must cut the corporate tax rate and allow the United States to compete internationally.
IMHO only: My memory isn’t good. But isn’t the USA paying lots of corporate taxes? I don’t understand why y’all can’t just eliminat taxes internationally and be done with it already! Sheesh!
10. Corporations must no longer be able to defer taxes on income earned abroad.
IMHO only: See? That’s why I didn’t want to submit my personal information (such as name, phone number, and email address) on an ‘Offical Tax Reform Survey’ that’s supposed to be submitted by an unknown timezone of 11:59 PM TONIGHT – when I cannot UNDERSTAND all these words! Just pay your taxes within the year as the rest of us goyims. WTF?
11. Our lower tax rates must also apply to small business, allowing entrepreneurs and freelancers to grow and prosper.
IHMO only: Just apply a simple tax rate across the board that way y’all cannot fudge the numbers. Remember the level playing field concept? Everyone has gotta be on the same page and at the same tax rate. Sheesh!
12. Our lower tax rates will provide a tremendous stimulus for the economy, significant GDP growth, and a huge number of new jobs.
IHMO only: OMG! Here we go again! Just eliminat the taxation and get it over with once and for all! If it is already too complex then and now, it’s gonna be complex forever, correct?
13. Our tax code overhaul must return power to the states.
IMHO only: I don’t understand your tax code. Overhauling it won’t work and so will the return of this ‘power’ to the states.
14. We must eliminate the marriage penalty and the Alternative Minimum Tax.
IMHO only: There’s a penalty for being married? WTF? And what is an AMT? Is that only for the alternative freaks within the LGBTQ community? See? This tax code has too many stuff! It’s too confusing!
15. We must allow working parents to deduct childcare expenses for up to four children and elderly dependents.
IMHO only: I still do NOT understand this word ‘deduct’ or ‘deduction’! Why would you want to deduct for stuff that’s already taxed? And who’s gonna absorb these reduced taxable expenses? It’s so convoluted.
16. We must reduce or eliminate the capital gains tax.
IMHO only: I don’t understand what is this ‘capital gains tax’. Do y’all mean that if you are rewarded, that y’all get taxed? That doesn’t make sense. Eliminate taxation altogeher!
17. We must pass tax reform legislation in order to Make America Great Again!
IMHO only: Yeah, go ahead, if y’all can! MAGA is only possible if you assholes do your jobs among the three branches, of course. You are obviously NOT representing the humanz as humanely as possible by punishing them with these confusing and unnecessary stuff!
