OMG! I got lost! The Google Maps was accurate and pointed to the general location of the maroon-color building. For fifteen freaking minutes, I went around in circles!
According to a Filipino folklore, when someone turns around and around and gets lost, it’s a frivolous spirit being mischievous!
My dad had such an encounter with a “tik-bah-lang”. He was walking his usual route through a sugar plantation when that incident occurred. I had to call the VP that I got lost!
Today’s incident indicates that job is NOT meant pour moi. I sensed that final/second interview was just a warm-up for when and if I do interview for my blow job, err, second home, err, “real employment”.
So, the job interview for direct placement via my head hunter went well. I rattled off the genetic answers rather quickly and knew what I was saying.
But my gut feelings indicate that it’s a no go. Why? Besides the aforementioned junk about getting lost and coming back out of the interview and into pouring rain, I like it here!
Although the travel time is another fifteen minutes and ten miles away, I really didn’t mind because the variety of tasks – it’s actually fun.
Well, from 1030 am to 1200 pm, I was out of the office. I hurried to my desk, dropped my TH cheap bag on my workstation to announce my arrival past the returning boss and “that guy”, and saw her woman boss head on out past the lobby. That high level officer (a German/French woman) shows off her legs well.
Then the tall, tanned AP guy inquired if I was dressed up because of a job interview. I retorted that I had an appointment but I alluded that I did and made a thumbs up signal. Haha!
So now I’m eating my Nutrisystem lunch and feel much better now with the disabled adults and Mexicans nearby. It’s raining outside and I’d better get back to work after brushing my teeth of course.
