This morning Maw heard something our local radio station and later I brought up the topic again of how San Francisco is “socialist” or something like that. I could barely remember what the radio talk show host said about how people are sold permits to do anything to their property. But nothing is permanent, like our teeth, health, state of mind, whatever.
Lo and behold, my favorite “person” posted two blogs/YouTube videos 45 minutes or so ago revolving around zoning and eminent domain. Listen, chumps! Sure, people may have worked hard on the lands but none of it was “meant” to last, much like our durable goods/products, which break-down frequently so that we are forced to buy replacements.
Heck, if y’all don’t believe me, take for example lots of Asian countries. “Their” governments took-over their properties and businesses and the displaced people immigrated to America. Oh, the horror stories of sadness and bitterness for those who had to escape the tyranny and oppression of their countries.
It seems that this is the growing trend. I won’t be surprised if more government “take-over” will continue here in America. So if these refugees/immigrants think they are in the “land of the free” after crossing over the seas” (I rhymed here!), they are mistaken. Such regimes are unfairly/unduly taxing the American people. Y’all will see it get worse with Obamacare.
