The reason why I really do NOT like attending mass is not so much the crazy nutters in attendance or the overpowering stench of arrogance but the unchanging dogmas/teachings/practices of the RCC!
After performing my duty as Communion minister, I did NOT have any problem. But when it comes to sharing a cup of “specially-made” wine for the church, I do NOT believe in cross-contamination.
The main complaint from MOST parishioners is the potential of contracting disease from sick people with mononucleosis, tuberculosis, AIDs, stage-four cancer, flu, colds, whatever.
So, to TPTB and pals, I am concern for my “health and safety” in receiving communion and drinking wine. Perhaps, OSHA must shut down the RCC from this unhealthy/unsanitary practice.
I’ve contacted our local parish regarding my “concern” via their main website and so far there is NO confirmation from the website of their receipt of my MANY emails of various sorts.
As a result, I’ll focus on my music ministry despite numerous complaints of this one being worse than the previous one. And this too does NOT encourage me to stay with these misfits.
