To the Boss: I’m imagining telling your Mom about how I’m learning a lot from you during choir rehearsal but there isn’t enough time. I don’t want to sing in the choir just for the Lawd or just for the sake of singing.
I want to be able to understand how to sing the music well as a choir member. For example, I learned how to pronounce certain words to differentiate Latin from Italian, a little bit about the composers to each music, and a conductor’s technique called “plate of induction” to give us breath.
Now that’s what I’m talking about! I’m bored just singing but would like to learn/be spoon-fed the discipline required of any choir member, just like the well-poised, well-behaved singers of St. John the Baptist Church.
So while I got a dose of criticism via my parents from Emmer/Myrnangutan for tail-gating stupid/slow drivers on our parish parking lot, you can’t imagine the damn criticism from Filipinos and everyone else who just don’t want to CHANGE!
Stick around for as long as you want, willing, and able. It’s our chance to shine because without us Filipinos that parish sucks. The white folks can admin the funds. If only my brain were more alert/statin-free at night, I’d beat down these old farts.
Sorry. I’m on the defense mode again, meaning maybe I should be a sentry/health and safety officer/security guard/law enforcement or something like that. Definitely, I am NOT a nun or sisterhood material because of my hyperactive and aggressive trait.
So if y’all see my face staring y’all down, that’s why. I don’t mean too but I’m really laughing and jumping inside despite my illnesses and accidents. Y’all are crazy! Wake up! Religion is a scam! God! Bahaha!
