You know the saying:
`If it ain’t broken, don’t go a fixin’ it!`
So like tonight’s double incident with the divorced nutter living next door to us, there is no fixing a crazy women. This is widely known, medically speaking. There is no hope for these demon possessed, really. Prayers may help these lost souls but that is a long shot.
Yesterday, the nutter cried to both Maw and me. Once again, as per my blog entries, the devil can tell thousands of lies. But the one truth that the devil keeps hidden, in her case, is that she is crazy. Her anti-depressants will only make her sick (as she stated to us yesterday morning) and suppress the symptoms, which is hopefully to keep her from being violent. But she is just nutty for now.
Anyway, Paw and I reviewed the voicemail message that she left on our voicemail system:
`Manang! I have a headache. I cannot drive.`
Seriously, folks. It is not right for her to disturb other concerned citizens. It is not our right to fix her. I told Maw who really doesn’t care if she cannot drive; so that she cannot work and pay the house, which should be foreclosed – the only answer to get rid of the freeloading, mestizos of Honduran descents living next door to us.
As far as politics is concerned, now I realize the government cannot fix everything. As mentioned in my previous blog entries, I wanted the government to do something about everything and all the ills of society and, yes, the world at large. But that wishful thinking has been futile.
If the society is sick, there is no fixing it, period. There is only the `chill pills` by the bio-pharmaceutical industry to assuage the common beast within each and every mortal human being. And that is the hope that one day the craziness that is all around us will be gone forever via a Savior, medical or political miracle.
So the only way to stop inviting trouble (like that divorced nutter, who won’t stop bugging us) is to avoid her nicely and tell her we have other things to do. I think this technique should also apply to my nutter of a paternal cousin Shill, who since 18 years old, has been affected in the head by the divorce of her parents and thus projected her anger at mostly Maw, who is an in-law and alleged best friend of the her mother.
