Yup: Our relatives don’t care to inform us properly of old granny’s condition. And I found out from a relative-in-law.
And what do I get? And earful over the phone around 09:06pm. Apparently, the boy thinks we are angry.
It’s actually his mouth again. He asks:
`What am I going to do about it?`
I had to hang up the second time.
The first time I hung up tonight was when he couldn’t hear me tell him what I found out: There were children making noises in the background. I was pissed, of course.
Then he continues to cover his ass and to trigger my nerves by making sound like I’m some mad person. Who wouldn’t be pissed off when he keeps throwing that crap back into my brain?
My violent side wants to drive over there and kick their butts. They deserve a piece of my mind. After all, I’m the eldest grand-brat and have a rapid speech to boot when pissed off with adrenaline flowing.
My realistic side knows these ungrateful relatives don’t care, which was his response to me as to why they failed to keep us abreast to important news. He even said:
`My father doesn’t care`.
A Filipino saying goes something like this:
`What you see in your parents, your kids will do the same`.
Now, I know why the boy treats his family so badly. It’s because he saw something from his paternal side.
The boy will continue to trigger the nerves of his family. He doesn’t know that we cannot get angry at lost souls, who already condemn us for telling the truth. The relatives are weird basically.
For the third time, I had to hang up on the poor soul. He, though bastos, will continue to know better than the rest of us, I’m afraid.
