The day has been mostly cloudy, except mid-morning, which had some high-altitude popcorn clouds and clear blue skies. After taking a photo of a cellphone tower disguised as a tree, I noticed that there were no clouds above this immediate area and a somewhat semi-circle eastward.
Early this morning and before dawn, I recall seeing long, whale-shaped clouds of bluish to gray colors over the horizon of Mt. Hamilton in the east. And like last night around twilight and again this morning’s twilight, the skies appeared indigo in shade.
As the sun rose from the east around 07:00am, there were popcorn clouds and high-altitude mackerel-stripped clouds. The cast from the sun rays upon the clouds were pink to orange and then golden in color.
