Ben, a local parishioner, was always a kidder. And, not too long ago, he told a simple tale about what guys want in a mate. It goes something like this:

There is always a princess out there for a prince.

And yes there is also a pauper.

Now the parents of the prince wants what is best for the lad. You guess it: She must be a princess!

Alas, the lad doesn’t want a princess. So he goes off to distant lands and searches for his bride.

Lo and behold, he finds a pauper and wants to marry her.

And they got married.

What about the parents? There are two scenarios.

  • Put up.
  • Shut up.

The End. Ba-da-bing!
