[Flynn’s comments: Below is a news article of a local 100-mile bicycle ride. It shows a photo of my brother, who is shown wearing a 16-year old, yellow jersey. He ordered a copy (eight by ten) from the photographer. I didn’t realize that anyone in public could have their photographs taken without their permission.
He and his VERY tall Chinese friend, who is 44 years old, rode together, starting early in the morning around 04:00am on Saturday, October 10, 2009. The friend was already way ahead due to his longer legs. He met one of the NFL coach on the way and said `Hi` to him.
It was his `rite of passage` but he won’t be doing this sort of event for $60.00 again. He didn’t look worn out after opting for the 100-mile. He has been preparing for one month, allowing his body to adjust anaerobically and had been popping around seven gel packs, which was full of sugar to sustain him during the ride. Nice!]
Condor Classic keeps pace with inaugural in year two

The second Condor Classic Bicycle Ride on Saturday attracted about 490 cyclists to San Benito County from all over the country and beyond.
The ride, starting at Windhaven Ranch in San Juan Bautista, brought out about the same number of participants as the inaugural event in 2008 despite cloudy weather in the morning. Entrants into the event chose from five different courses, including the 100-mile ride – for which 173 people opted – or courses of 60, 40, 20 and 10 miles.
