Listening to Rabbi Daniel Lapin on HotTalk 560am-KSFO. He’s talking about trying to put the children to sleep because the parents wanted to talk to some visitors. But the children bargained for not one, but two pieces of candies, just to go to bed early! Now most parents would want to be good friends with their children.
The rules don’t change. More candy is not always better. Eating candy before nap time would mean potential cavities for the children who should have to brush their teeth again after consuming the sweets. Like society, rules remain and laws are supposed to be enforced. Anytime the children, like the bottom-feeders of society, throw tantrums and don’t get what they want, punishment is the only answer for breaking the rules.
So there is your answer. The liberals cannot be running around, throwing tantrums and getting whatever and whenever they want (via the ACORN-ites, for example). The U.S. Constitution has been amended so many times, the core principles by which a civil society is governed has been watered down to nothing more than parents being overcome and over-powered by ungrateful and out of control children.
