Old soul: I realized that my closest friends are not my relatives.
Well, he should have realized by now how the relatives are only known by name to us and nothing more. Based on my observations as the eldest paternal grandchild, I have been a star witness to how unkindly our relatives have treated us over the years. I have made my notations, too.
This is another reason why I closed my stupid Facebook.com account last week. After one week, only one second cousin added me as a friend. I didn`t recognize her. She didn`t write. She, like her equally ungrateful parents didn`t bother contacting us during a relative`s wedding here in July 2008. She had nothing else to post on her `wall` but complain about being sick with the flu. Stupid.
The other was a first cousin, whose sister is not worth mentioning. Those `in the know` have heard my angered thoughts through time and space. She `fell` for being the worse offender of the cousins. I will never forget the countless times she and her mother operated, including the religious fraud who ensnared my aunt-in-law to pay lots of money for fruitless answers. It was a `chilling` story.
Anyway, I am my only true friend as well as my worse enemy. With my `seventh house` pretty much astrologically empty, my only other `friends` are my bio-units and parakeets. I have learned that `true` friends call, visit and write. My emails are always useless. My chatting sessions are null. My cellphone is bugged and I keep discharging the unit after removing the battery (for security reason, of course).
But recent packages of goodies have been mailed and for these I am grateful. I am also grateful for the opportunity to know ahead of time that `in-laws` suck. I feel the same with the twit when she will assume my surname that she doesn`t deserve. Then again it`s karma. So I guess it will work out. It’s a great brouhaha!
I am grateful for being alive and able to keep the faith, peace and my mouth shut. I don`t know if I should reveal my `real name`, show my `frown face` or expose my `naked soul` to anyone. All I know is that `THEY` kept their promise(s). So I expect y`all to support each other until Inauguration Day (01/20/2009). If nothing else happens, y`all will see my name in the public records — big time.
