In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Immortalized in Stone | Your personal sculptor is carving a person, thing or event from the last year of your life. What’s the statue of and what makes it so significant?”
Good Flynn: The sculpture would be that of an empty chair. This chair is part of a wooden school desk, with a table top that flips opens upward from the bottom and can hold books and school supplies. The size of this desk would be good for a small child. This chair is empty because a small child used to sit in class and learn lessons from the teacher. This empty chair signifies the indoctrination of children to the state.
Evil Kitty: My sculpture would be that of an empty dish bowl of food. The bowl is plastic as representation advanced technology and has cat paw prints designs to designate the feline ownership. It’s turned over because it’s was freshly washed and awaits its humanz to fill the dish bowl with nom-noms. This empty bowl signifies the rising cost of commodities.
