Greetings fellow voters,
I’m now starting to read Proposition 46 – Drug and Alcohol Testing of Doctors, Medical Negligence Lawsuits. Initiative Statutes. (Refer pages 26-33 of “California General Election, Tuesday, November 4, 2014 – Official Voter Information Guide”.)
Like Proposition 47, I see some of my stuff here. But I wonder why only the physicians must undergo these random drug and alcohol tests.
And why aren’t the nurses, lawyers, and staff also tested, in case they’re all in cahoots with each other?
As mentioned in my recent blog, there is a PCP that is totally edgy, quick-witted. We suspect he may/might be on drugs. But it’s only speculation.
First, I like how accountability may/might improve the health and well-being of celebrities, for example, who have the cash/means to hide their addiction.
A historical track record of any/all activities is helpful, especially if the government provides health care to people.
Second, I also want to make sure the doctors are protected, in case the thugs are threatening them to prescribe illegally, too. Capping damages is helpful.
Third, lots of physicians are after the money. It’s “business as usual”.
After today’s visit to a well-respected physician, we learned of his frustration when the rest would NOT charge a “fair price”. He attended all board meetings.
We’d support this honorable brethren, if he ever decides to run as board member. He and two others dropped out in the previous ones.
He doesn’t think their “palace”, which I described as “pretty”, was worth the improvement, the lengthening of distance between medical offices, which I mentioned was good for exercises.
So, with that said, I know how I’m going to vote on Proposition 46.
With lots of hisses,
Evil Kitty
