Greetings fellow voters,
I’m reading the pages to Proposition 47 – Criminal Sentences. Misdemeanor Penalties. Initiative Statutes. (Refer pages 34-39 of “California General Election, Tuesday, November 4, 2014 – Official Voter Information Guide”.)
First, I didn’t see any part historical performances of those who were released and the general trend towards recurring crimes as a result of leniency.
Second, I don’t see any alternative to misdemeanors other than harsher penalties as a logical punishment, next to death.
Third, I don’t see anything that would indicate that these offenders have bad DNA and/or abusive upbringing. I’m assuming these are inherently evil people.
As usual, I’m confused. I know for a fact that stupid/crazy people will continue to do what they know best – to exercise stupid and crazy behavior.
Off-topic rant: I want to feel assured of our safety. As we came home after a late lunch around 1400 or so, a large, tall, white SUV pick-up truck stalked us.
We both were stopped at a busy intersection with video cameras. I was behind it. It was behind a small bluish sedan. We exited to the left traffic and kept right.
It exited off the drive leading to an elementary school. We took the second right leading home.
It came from the right artery road quickly. The driver smiled at us and it parked off the right side of the dead end road.
As soon as we took the left road onto our drive and it made a quick U-turn back the opposite direction.
I had to close our electric garage door immediately, so I could unload the groceries safely.
I’ve been noticing lots of belligerent drivers on the road and they look and act Hispanic because of their dark-colored hair and aggressive driving.
So with today’s fine example, I know how I’m going to vote on this proposition.
With lots of hisses,
Evil Kitty
