Today is beautiful! The sun shines. The skies are clear and blue. The winds blow gently then but now strongly. I could see the branches waving as the golden sunrays highlight the leaves.
It was somewhat cold under the shade of the patio this morning. But the warmth of the sun proved to be enough to keep the parakeets warm while Paw and I washed three cars.
Today, I’ve received four separate phone calls from a well known international head hunter for the `accounting division`. I just check his email and lurked to the company’s website. I like their products. I want one.
Anyway, after the washing of three cars, I man-handled the leaf blower and blew debris, branches, twigs, seeds, and dust left over from the almighty eucalyptus tree to the side of our fence.
Then I took my much needed shower, ate lunch and helped Maw with the preparation of tonight’s dinner by mainly getting her ingredients and such. She did the chopping and cooking of the kabocha squash.
Rest and digestion came after wards. Timing could not have been made more perfect than with a little loving boost for the beautiful weather, a healthy lifestyle yet a slow death of my family and parakeets, the repair of my car and with the financial assistance of Paw, and overall faith in the unknown.
Then again, if my screen call tomorrow doesn’t go well, meh! I don’t mind staying home and taking care of my elderly parents and playful parakeets. It’s being told what to do that stifle my creative attitude. I cannot stand being bossed around but survival comes first before ego, security before freedom and food before fun.
