20250113-2158. Finally and after many hours of getting comfortable with customizations of my weblog site, I finished tweaking my front page again but with ease. Per one of my previous blogs, I mentioned how my front homepage was just a dump of my favorite WordPress widgets.
Lo and behold! After just a few minutes, I managed to figure out why the “click and drag” technique does NOT work with the Elementor Containers!
I discovered Right-click, Copy and Paste! How easy is that? Well, all y’all have to do is click the Plus sign somewhere on the “bottom” of your workspace and select either Flexbox or Grid. In this case, I would almost always select the Flexbox because I guess that “layout” allows the elements to be “responsive” among the various devices, such as desktop, tablets and mobile (phones).
I knew last night that I have to save each WordPress widget or whatever widget inside a Container and then Save as Template in case I got frustrated and accidentally delete my hard work.
So after a Container is Saved as Template, I merely studied how I wanted to place widgets. I would Right-click and Copy a “Container” and then click into the “white space” of a square with the “plus” sign inside the middle and then Right-click and Paste! It’s that easy!
Then I would go back and delete the original Copied Container and then do the rest of my widgets!
I know that I would NEVER be satisfied with these static pages and I would find other ways to make it beautiful in my opinion.
But this pinkish orangey colored theme will have to suffice for now.
That’s all. End of status report 2208 PST.
