20240113-1442. Behold! I have tweaked my OLD blog! The resurrected version is pinkish or the color of Mercurochrome, which we used to apply to our scrapped elbows, knees and other childhood injuries while having fun outfits, such as crashing our bicycles.
Thanks to countless hours tweaking my blog using the Gutenberg blocks, I was faster in tweaking with my new understanding of Saving Templates under Elementor, which is the “equivalent” of Saving Patterns under Gutenberg blocks!
Whether I saved my hard work Groups (Gutenberg blocks) or Containers or Grids (Elementor plugins) as either Patterns or Templates , respectively, I was somewhat pleased with the results.
The workflow is similar. However, the left side bar layout took some time for me to learn that my most familiar WordPress widgets were located way on the bottom!
I was freaking struggling with the Elementor widgets located in the middle. But with a little time, I so soon realized that most of these widgets are really meant for businesses and monetization.
I used most of the WordPress especially two from Jetpack: Search and Akismet spam widgets.
For now the front homepage is just a dump of my favorite widgets under the Container layout. I’ll use the Grid layout to mix-up the views.
After I finish the front homepage, I work on the posts pages.
I like my header which only sports the Site Profile of Site Icon, Site Title and Site Tagline and the Jetpack Search.
The footer has the external links, my bio and the copyright.
That’s all for now because my elderly father is hungry and asked me: What’s the matter with you? Instead of him reading his Bible, I bothers me while I blog and while I listen to my Bible audio books.
