Flynn's Paws: My Thoughts, My Gripes

Should you help homeless people? Why or why not?

You should NOT help homeless people because that is their choice whether by their own fault or not. You see, we have this homeless lady hanging around the Berryessa Center. For all we know she has loving family members who are WEALTHY. She just refuses to take her medications and wanders around freely.

In another example, this other homeless lady was asking for a free hand out. You see, people who are allegedly homeless have means to get around town. This lady has a car, a disability placard and smokes. Most homeless people have addiction to drugs and alcohol and therefore begs on the street.

I’m a believer in karma. I just don’t believe in reincarnation because most of us do NOT remember our past lives. It is with my assumption that once a person dies, debts are forgiven and the soul can move on to experience a different set of memes. As for the homeless, they assumed that status in a lifetime and therefore add to the collective consciousness of their experiences of less.
