‘Blade runner’ hits the Olympic road – Al Jazeera English

I was touched to see someone compete with new sets of legs. Although he has a “better” heart advantage while competing (meaning there’s less surface area for his heart to circulate blood) and though he does wear artificial limbs, which doesn’t look like it “helped” him all that much from my “mind’s eye” as far as friction and balance, he made it that far into the Olympics to show to the world that disabled people can win, too. You can “see/sense” how he struggles to get the legs to run so he is NOT getting the advantage over the able-bodied athletes.
