Here is yet some notable words of wisdom by Maw a few days ago:

“I cannot give a lot on my fixed income and then have my local parish turn around and tell me that they didn’t ask for my donation. Had I known about the situation, you can count on me anytime.”

From what we gathered, the florist for our church used his own money to make beautiful flower arrangement. He happens to be a very LONG-FACED but VERY sensitive soul. And now that we are aware of the situation, we just need to be there whenever the need arises.

With regard to “my family”, it wouldn’t make sense to continue down that road. What was supposed to have been a promise has become reality. I’m jobless again. And without income, I cannot repay my family but with servitude of menial chores, gardening and chauffering.
