This morning is an overcast of light clouds. The winds are blowing hard, too! But it’s not freezing cold because I’m able to wear a hot-pink, acrylic sweater and a basic knitted cap by Maw, who pissed off this morning because I messed up the right side of blowing her hair. Oh, well!
Yesterday during my mid-afternoon walk, I overheard a wooden, clattering sound. It almost sounds mechanical as I looked up into the bare branches of the second tree. Then I walked farther towards the main street and away from the cul-de-sac and heard the clattering noise and looked up the first tree and saw a baby crow.
As I rounded the corner towards the right, I saw one “adult” crow among the freshly cut grass where my dandelions are growing profusely. I would assume that it was the parent of the baby crow crying for food up that tree. The air was blowing and freezing by that time.
