Today is crispy, blue skies. And the sunshine was bright, too! Some chemtrails, like yesterday, would appear over our home in the morning and near my temp job from hell the rest of the day. But they would not stick and the chemlines would disappear. I managed to walk around the building once for about 10 minutes before building up another sweat, which thankfully wasn’t enough to remove my cotton, undershirt.
I had to talk to the temp guy who expressed his concern with “team work” for about a good 30 minutes, which is why I lost some minutes of lunch walk. I helped to resolve the issue a little bit by playing an IT department by setting up his “shared drive” via HelpDesk tickets and approval by one of the full-time staff. In the back of my mind, I neither liked back-stabbing nor power-trips. I just want my money back so I could get TF out of this place.
In the meantime, I had cake – very light, white sponge cake with custard and strawberry fillings! It’s so light that I didn’t react to the sugar. The temp girl totally wasn’t interested in consume the dessert, which hit my GROWLING stomach, or the cans of soda. Maybe, she’s diabetic because she told me once that she gets sleepy from eating too much white rice but instead eats brown rice.
Maw and Paw trimmed more dead, dried and dying branches from the apricot and plum trees. The persimmon and kumquat trees almost look bear. The twosome didn’t dare take down the next of the blue jay, which was eying them quietly in the hopes that their hard work won’t be destroyed. The two lemon trees didn’t have enough water and the leaves were wilting. The hanging plants were dried and Maw cleaned-up the cactus of Allen’s dad.
The parakeet were in good spirits. I actually had the chance to speak with them. Buddy is talkative but Bully was sleepy. YeYo talked too and Binky was playful a little bit. Simon chirped angrily because I paid too much attention to Buddy. Winnie was quiet.
