After taking a shower from doing yard work, I am recalling two people who are nasty to their mothers. They would point their right index fingers in front of their mother’s face. They would say:
`Don’t tell me what to do! I know what I’m doing!`
Of course, the shock and heartbreak of these two mother must be devastating. They knew their crazy children would never GROW UP or CHANGE for the better but instead choose a path solely for their own selfishness.
The first story was about Shill (my paternal, first cousin) many years ago. The incident was inside the garage of their home (now sold) in Union City, CA. The boy was trying to park the big white van inside the `right side` of garage. I was standing to the right of her mother. Both of us were watching the scene unfold from inside the `left side` of the garage. As the boy pulled the van forward, Shill was DIRECTLY in front of the van. She was motioning with her right hand for the boy to come forward so as to not HIT the wall behind her. This was when the mother yelled at her to get out from in FRONT the car. Then the girl looked in the direction of her mother; yelled back and pointed her right index finger in her mother’s face. The mother couldn’t talk back.
The second story was about the same boy, who was seated at the dining room table of his OLD family’s house. A discussion cannot be had with the rebellious boy, who REFUSES to accept responsibility for his failures in life. But instead he continues to blame his elderly parents. Many more wise words were shared by the old timers but he failed to listen well. His Paw was not participating and quite silent during the ordeal. His Maw was more vocal, a sign that (like most woman) cared enough to fight for the improvement of a lost soul. She said something to the boy and in return the boy raised his voice at his medically disabled Maw. He then pointed his finger in her face. He stormed out of the house like his paternal Uncle Dead once did during the transfer of Social Security funds from his hands to his sisters, Aunties Death and Louse.
The rebellious ones, much like the politically motivated liberals, are capable of shooting themselves in the foot and will in turn point their fingers at the guilty party, who are really innocent in the matter. These rebels are not radicals but nutballs. I wonder if there is a law against children who abuse their caretakers, guardians, foster parents, biological parents, etc.
