Look, we should just use our own observations without relying on establish scientific explanations (or other theorists) to give us answers to everything and anything we do not fully understand regarding the flat earth. Mine is simple and supports the flat earth theory. Water is held inside a container. A round ball bounces from the ground, floats in water and doesn’t hold water well.
Oh, I just had another thought. Maybe the reasons why the outer ‘planets’ (such as Jupiter) are spherical is because gas is contained well inside spherical shaped containers.
We are all basically living on a Petri dish (flora and fauna of living organisms) or someone’s pot of soup (hence the volcanoes, earthquakes, etc.) Laws (and I’ll throw in ‘hearts’, of all things) can be broken, even physics. I don’t see why gravity needs to be generally accepted as the underling force for keeping things together and in motion. (I’m thinking out loud too much: Enough said.)
What appears real to most may not appear real to some.
