20250221-1005. Greetings, chumps! Today is sunny and cold! Yesterday, I found inspiration for a sidebar menu from a website, which I discovered after leaving a voicemail message and then receiving a callback from dad’s doctor referral.
(Off-topic rant: I really do NOT like how this health/medical “small” business operates! They are too slow and probably do NOT have enough patients to keep someone in the office full-time! I later left a message for a callback to confirm if they received my text message. Jennifer never called. B!tch! Bunch of brownish shats! I hate THEM all!)
Anyways, I liked how their left sidebar menu flies open and has only a few main links/menus and sub-links/menus.
So I moved my right sidebar menu to the left side. Both versions displayed the full content.
Later on, I got another inspiration after reading the latest WordPress.com News about how they redesigned their Blog, which was once a single column but is now showing, I guess the most recent blog on top of three smaller blogs. Both are horizontal now.
After that inspiration, I got busy and designed both headers and footer and inserted both blocks into their own Details blocks! Voila!
Now at least I have the “Content” more visible and both Header and Footer are collapsed/hidden. I was frustrated that the Header and Footer took up too much visibility and I needed a way just to focus on the Content, just like how Blogger dot com (or formerly Blogspot dot com or whatever) has its Content displayed front and center and with at least the Site Title above its Description below.
Voila! I say this again because I’m please, until I ran my Jetpack Boost to regenerate automatically Critical CSS!
I got frustrated again when I saw my Mobile Score plunged from a Letter Grade of “A” to “B”. I was NOT gonna settle for a lower grade!
So I removed all the funky Typography and Colors and changed my favorite dark black color to light white color for both the Header and Footer.
Then I regenerated/refreshed my Mobile Score back to a Letter Grade of “A”.
Now my weblog site is boring and normal with a dark black text, sans serif font and light white background.
Also, I almost forgot about how I didn’t like how the QueryLoop had all these extra spacing for the left and right. And so I Reset all the Groups, Stacks and Rows to Default and let theme’s “hard-code” take care of spacing.
Voila! Now my FRONT-COVER, which is my Front page, Cornerstone Page (Jetpack Experimental) sports at least three of the most recent blogs and my favorite Pagination below to show the over twenty thousands of pages as “evidence” or “proof” that I really blogged my heart out here!
Oh, I almost forgot that I set the Navigation menus for my internal links to hide/collapse for Mobile views and turned off the Overlay menu for my external links. This “logic” makes sense now; since I nobody really clicks on my internal links of mostly Pages. And I might as well “promote” other sites while I’m at it!
That’s all for now. End of transmission 1025 PST.
