20221004-1844. Welp, I’ve been tweaking my blog and the webpage is responding faster with no freezes, pauses, or the like.
20221004-1848. I’ll take that back because the system is forcing me to go back to the self-hosted site with all those annoying messages to upgrade or else errors will plague my blog!
While blogging this post entry, I received an upload error message and the system is forcing me to log into my self-hosted site and it does NOT recognize my login credentials.
Nope! I’m NOT gonna have it; though I’ve blogged about staying on board with the self-hosted site, I can’t: because I still have active online accounts using my countless email aliases. So while I’d like to transfer out my domain here, it’s NOT gonna happen anytime soon.
So back to this stuff about rainbow colors.
For the cover, I have the huge cartouche, site logo front and center with its background in gradient rainbow color. The paragraph below this site logo is a simple welcome message.
For the query posts, I have the global colors set to a dark black background with light white text. I left the link color as a default PURE EVIL red and the headers and button colors are left to their own defaults, too.
Like Twatter and its dark overtones of censorship, I’ve included the profile photo, my site nickname, and my favorite date/timestamp.
For the footer, I have three columns and one paragraph. I changed the first column to be a gradient Midnight blue like the firmament above, the second column to be a gradient Pale Ocean blue like the waters below, and the third column to be a gradient Electric Grass like the ground zero of mankind.
My usual footer credits are down below where no man has gone before. Whatever! Haha!
Now I have to tweak each Template AND Template Parts, just the way my, myself and I like it!
