“Demonstrations break out in several of China’s cities over Japan’s move to buy uninabited islands”
“Some recalled the atrocities committed by Japan when it occupied China in the 1930s and 1940s.” “We’ve always hated Japan. Japan invaded China and killed a lot of Chinese. We will never forget,” protestor Liu Gang told Reuters.
“Chinese flags and signs reading: “The Diaoyu Islands belong to China”.”
“demonstrations on Tuesday, the anniversary of 1931’s Mukden incident…”
Wow. Umm. In retro-speck, perhaps the location/vicinity of the island(s) is closet to China. However, my thoughts are: that whoever can better manage the RIGHTS of their environment and its people overall can handle larger responsibilities and that has “education” with a moral compass can claim their islands.
